Music Education Trust Music Festival - Dec. 9 to 18, 2022

The New Delhi and Chennai Chapters of Music Education Trust host a 10-day music festival on the theme 'Lesser-known compositions of the Musical Trinity in well-known ragas' dedicated to vidwan-guru T.R. Subramanyam

Gayatri Fine Arts Annual Music Festival Dec. 23 to 27, 2022

The 4th annual fine arts festival of Gayatri Fine Arts will be held from Dec. 23 to 27, 2022.

Venue: Lakshmi Giri Convention Hall, 7, North Mada Street, Mylapore, Chennai -4

The title 'Sampradaya Sangeetha Vishaarada' will be conferred on senior musician Rama Ravi and the title 'Sangeetha Seva Vishaarada' will be given to Arkay Ramakrishnan

Brahma Gana Sabha's December Art Festival is held in three locations - Rasika Ranjani Sabha Hall (Dec. 8 - 11, 2022), TAG Centre (Dec. 12 to 31, 2022) and at Arkay Convention Centre (Dec 12 to 20, 2022)

Narada Gana Sabha Isai Natya Nataka Vizha - Dec. 15, 2022 to Jan. 1, 2023

This year's Isai Natya Nataka Vizha of Narada Gana Sabha will begin with the conferment of the title 'Nadhavrahmam' on dancer Prof. Sudharani Raghupathy, senior musician Trichur V. Ramachandran and violinist A. Kanyakumari on Dec. 15, 2022.

The festival will be held till Jan. 1, 2023.

Marghazhi Matram: Dec. 2-4 and Dec. 7-10, 2022

The 3rd edition of Marghazhi Matram - an inclusive music and dance Festival, organised by SciArtsRUs along with Live4You, will be held from Dec. 2-4 and Dec. 7-10 at Chennai and lauches its Madurai edition on Dec. 14, 2022.

With close to 200 performers across abilities, cultures and groups, the platform this year will showcase about 65 differently-abled artists from India in various performing arts. Visual artists with differential abilities are also included in the festival this year to connect the arts.

This will be their first edition to feature art and artists from relatively underrepresented groups including folk artists, cross-culture, disability and LGBTQ.

The concerts and dance recitals will be held at Dakshinamurthy Auditorium (PS High School campus), Mylapore) from Dec. 2 -4 and at Ranjani Hall, 15th St, Nanganallur Co-op society Colony, Nanganallur during Dec. 7 to 9, 2022.

The events are open to all.
