The Indian Fine Arts Society's music festival will honour Dr. T.V. Gopalakrishnan with the title 'Sageetha Kalasikhamani' and dancer Geeta Chandran with 'Natya Kalasikhamani' this year.

Marghazhi Matram: Dec. 2-4 and Dec. 7-10, 2022

The 3rd edition of Marghazhi Matram - an inclusive music and dance Festival, organised by SciArtsRUs along with Live4You, will be held from Dec. 2-4 and Dec. 7-10 at Chennai and lauches its Madurai edition on Dec. 14, 2022.

With close to 200 performers across abilities, cultures and groups, the platform this year will showcase about 65 differently-abled artists from India in various performing arts. Visual artists with differential abilities are also included in the festival this year to connect the arts.

This will be their first edition to feature art and artists from relatively underrepresented groups including folk artists, cross-culture, disability and LGBTQ.

The concerts and dance recitals will be held at Dakshinamurthy Auditorium (PS High School campus), Mylapore) from Dec. 2 -4 and at Ranjani Hall, 15th St, Nanganallur Co-op society Colony, Nanganallur during Dec. 7 to 9, 2022.

The events are open to all.

Mudhra Fine Arts Festival: Dec. 1 to 25, 2022

The 28th year Fine Arts Festival of Mudhra will be hosted from Dec. 1 to 25, 2022.

The inauguration of the festival and the award function will be held at Vani Mahal (Mini Hall) on Dec. 1, 2022 at 5.30 p.m. 

Mudhra Award of Excellence will be resented to violin vidwan Nagai R. Muralidharan.

A vocal concert by Anahita and Apoorva along with B.V. Raghavendra Rao (Violin), Shertalai Ananthakrishnan (Mridangam), Dr. S. Karthick (Ghatam) is scheduled at 7.00 p.m.

Kartik Fine Arts Arts Festival 2022 - Dec. 1 to 14, 2022

Kartik Fine Arts has a two-part festival every year and a classical dance seminar - Natya Darshan.

Thr first part of this year's festival will be held from Dec. 1 to 14, 2022 at Narada Gana Sabha Main Hall. TTK Road Alwarpet.

The second part will be from Dec. 15, 2022 to Jan. 1, 2023 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Main & Mini hall, which includes a three-day Natya Darshan and a seven-day Tamil Isai Vizha. (The schedule is awaited)
