Palghat Mani Iyer Centenary award (Instituted by Dr. Nithyashree Mahadevan) will be presented to mridanga vidwan V. Kamalakara Rao.
Gottuvadyam Narayana Iyengar Award for Visesha Vadyam (Instituted by Chennai Fine Arts) will be given to Thanjavur Sri. T.R. Govindarajan (Thavil)
Dwaram Venkataswami Naidu Award (Instituted by Sri. Mohan Parasaran) will be presented to violinist Embar S Kannan,
Veena Artiste Rajhesh Vaidya will receive G. Ramanathan Award (Instituted by Sathanur Sri. V. Parthasarathy). Vocalist Amrutha Venkatesh will receive Dr. M.L.V. Award (Instituted by Smt. Sudha Ragunathan)
The awards will be presented at the inauguration of the sabha's December Music Festival on Dec. 16, 2018 at 5.30 p.m. His Holiness Srimate Srivan Satakopa Sri Ranganatha Yatheendra Maha Desikan (46th Azhagiyasingar) of Sri Ahobila Muth will grace the occasion and confer the awards.
The Isai Vizha will be held from Dec. 16, 2018 to Jan. 4, 2019.
