Indian Fine Arts Society awards 2010

Nungambakkam Cultural Academy awards 2010
Nungambakkam Cultural Academy hosts the longest ’season’ every year. The events are held at Ramarao Kala Mantap, Habibullah Road, T. Nagar.
This year's 'season starts from Dec. 5, 2010
The awards for this year are:
Lifetime Achievement Award - Padma Subrahmanyam – Bharata nrityam. (The award carries a gold medallion, a citation and a purse of Rs. 25,000).

Nataka Kala Sironmani - Kudanthai Mali
NCA Excellence Award:

Kartik Fine Arts Awards 2010
Kartik Fine Arts Society is yet to have its own auditorium to hold its events. During the season, they host the concerts in Narada Gana sabha, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and later as a Tamil music festival at Valliammal College for Women in Anna Nagar.

The Music Academy Awards 2010
The prestigious awards by The Music Academy have been announced for this year.
'Bombay Sisters' C. Saroja and C. Lalitha will receive the Sangita Kalanidhi award and preside over the 84th annual conference of the 'academy' to be held from December 15, 2010 to January 1, 2011.
The annual conference and concerts will be inaugurated by Shiv Nadar, Chairman, HCL group. The awards will be conferred on the Sadas, which will be presided over by Nobel laureate Venkataraman Ramakrishnan, on the final day of the conference, that is, Jan.1, 2011
Sangita Kala Acharya award: Suguna Varadachari, (Vocal) Rhadha (Bharatanatyam)
T.T.K. Award: Manakkal S. Rangarajan (Vocal), Parassala Ponnammal (Vocal)
Musicologist award: R. Satyanarayana.
Papa Venkataramiah award: Radha Narayanan (Violin)
