The awards for this year are:
Lifetime Achievement Award - Padma Subrahmanyam – Bharata nrityam. (The award carries a gold medallion, a citation and a purse of Rs. 25,000).
Sangeetha Kala Sironmani - T.V. Gopalakrishnan
Nrithya Kala Sironmani - Revathi Ramachandran
Nataka Kala Sironmani - Kudanthai Mali
NCA Excellence Award:
Rajani Hariharan (Music),
Nagai Mukundan (devotional discourse),
K.S.N. Sundar (Tamil theatre)
Sujatha Mohan (Bharatanatyam)
Sembanarkoil Rajanna (nagaswaram)
R. Krishnasamy (contribution to fine arts).
Each award carries a citation, a gold medallion and a purse of Rs. 5,000.
