Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha in its 114th year confers the title 'Sangeetha Kalasarathy' on vocalist N. Vijay Siva for his dedicated and continued service to the field of Carnatic Music on the inaugural day of Isai Vizha - December Music Festival - on Dec. 14, 2014 Vidya Bharathi, Mylapore. This award carries a cash prize of Rupees One Lakh (Cash Award from the endowment created by Sri. P. Vijayakumar Reddy and Smt. Preetha Reddy).
Srimadh Parama Hamsa Rangaramanuja Jeer alias Emberumanar Jeer Swamigal, Alwarthirunagari inaugurates the festival and confers the title.
The Sabha will present the Palghat Mani Iyer Centenary award to Mrudangam maestro Guruvayur Dorai. The Dwaram Venkataswami Naidu Award to Violin maestro Parur M.S. Anantharaman. The G. Ramanathan Award to Dr. Sirkazhi Sivachidambaram and Dr. M.L.V. Award to vocalist K. Gayathri on the inaugural day.
